Our whole team went on a relaxing evening cruise aboard a yakatabune, a traditional Japanese pleasure boat used for dinner cruises, the other day.

Since the outing also served as our year-end gathering, we enjoyed a warm and lively time together, savoring good food and drinks.

Leaving from the Kachidoki Asase Pier, the boat made its way through the gentle late-autumn night breeze, passing by Odaiba, the Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Skytree, and Tokyo Tower. We were able to take in the full beauty of Tokyo’s waterfront night views.

With the Christmas season just around the corner, the Skytree was already lit up in Christmas-tree and Santa-inspired colors, and many of our staff went up to the deck to capture its graceful appearance in photos.

As we watched other colorful yakatabunes gliding across the water, each of us found a moment to look back on the past year and think about the year ahead. Aboard the Marronnie-maru, we hope to continue our journey with a bright outlook and a clear view ahead.
