Our Firm's Policy Regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic

2020/4/1

President Attorney: Shiro Fujitani

In response to the global spread of the novel coronavirus, our firm is taking careful and appropriate measures to prevent infection in these difficult circumstances. In order to protect the interests of our clients, we are continuing to provide high-quality services while ensuring the safety of all of our clients and staff.

In response to requests from the government and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, we are encouraging our staff to work from home in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. We would appreciate your understanding of the following.
1. Expected Delay
Although we are taking turns to stay at the office, as we have reduced the number of staff, there may be delays in deliveries, billing, and other mail and faxed correspondence and replies throughout April.
2. Recommended Communication Methods
If you send your request by fax or post, it may be difficult for the person in charge to respond immediately, so if possible, please send it by e-mail so that we can respond smoothly. Please note that our staff at home are able to receive and send e-mails from our office address.
3. Email-based Communication
In the event of an unforeseen situation, such as a lockdown that restricts access to the office, we will respond via email.
4. Paper-based Invoicing
Please note that we will respond to requests for deliveries and invoices by post, etc. after the restrictions are lifted.
