About Us

Ogawa & Nakamura Patent and Trademark Agent was founded by two patent attorneys Junzo Ogawa and Morio Nakamura in January 1988 and is since located along Maronie street in Ginza, Tokyo.

We welcomed a new partner, Patent attorney Shiro Fujitani in 2009 and established a new patent corporation, Ginza Maronie Patent Corporation in 2012.

In addition to Ogawa and Nakamura's outstanding experience in Patent, Trademark and Industrial Design field, Fujitani brings nearly 20 years of remarkable experience as a Patent litigation attorney to our firm and our professional service has been highly evaluated by our valuable clients.

DOMESTIC OPERATION	We can handle various matters such as preparing specifications, filing applications, responding to office actions, filing oppositions, appeals and lawsuits, agent for arbitration proceedings, expert opinion, maintaining patents.
FOREIGN OPEARTION	By working with agents in overseas, we handle various matters such as filing a direct Patent application and a regional Patent application (PCT, EPO, NPI, GCE, CPO and EAPO) and filing a Trademark application throughout the world. Further we handle controlling maintenance fees and filing a request for opposition and appeal.
